IFAE is involved in Higgs search and Jet and Missing ET reconstruction.

IFAE is involved in the Event Filter, the third-level trigger system of Atlas. IFAE contributes to the Monitoring of the Physics selection process and the infrastructure software for computer farm (see nile web page ).

• Construction

IFAE has assembled and equipped a full Tilecal Extended Barrel. It has been pre-assembled at CERN for test. It is now dismounted and ready for installation in the experimental cavern.

• Cs Calibration

A Cs source based system is used for Tilecal calibration. IFAE is responsible of part of the electronics and is involved in various related data analysis.

• Test Beams

Test beam data are taken with calorimeter modules for performance evaluation and calibration. In 2004, a combined test with other Atlas detector elements is foreseen.
